Had a meeting wid my mentor yday for the first time.. He's a nice guy.. Gave me a few pointers to life, which felt like things that i've been hearing these past few weeks too, juz wanna share it wid u guys.. Hope it helps! :)

Are you satisfied with your life now? If yes, what are you satisfied with? your career? your grades? friends? To assist you in answering this question, think 5yrs back.. 5yrs ago, what was your goal? To grow in God's ways? To get into a uni of your choice? To have a good and reliable network of friends with whom you can share your troubles n joy? To have a good family? To get married with a good job? To get rich? And now.. Are you living it? Are you living the goals u've set yourself 5yrs ago? Was everything just as u wanted it to be?

Are you happy with what you are right now? Do you find joy in whatever you do, or do u detest every minute of life to such an extent that you wished that this is the last stretch of road you have to walk on? Do you find joy in your work?
God told Adam to name every animal he sees, and Adam did it. Did Adam see it as a job? He had to name all the animals that he saw! Imagine if it were you, would you give up immediately? It was because Adam trusted God and His ways, having faith that God was helping him, that gave him joy in his work.
If work pulls you down, may your joy be lifted higher. If life crashes down on you, may the joy of the Lord shine on you. For its when you are trialed, when you are tested, when you are stretched, where you'll be trained.
Some of us know this, many others don't. Is this the reason for us to smile in dirt and sweat? A meaning that grows into a beautiful flower once placed in us? I boldly say YES. Going forth in joy is what i've learnt, helping others is what i'll do, praising God is what i love, Smiling sweetly is what i'll show..

Also learnt about measurement in a whole new concept. If you say you'll work harder? DEFINE harder.. If you say you've been studying till 4am last night, what time exactly did u start? If you said you've studied for 10 hours non stop, did 10hrs worth of information get installed into your head? If you say you want to be rich in future, how rich is rich when you'll never get satisfied?
If you say that you're the world's happiest man, DEFINE happy! Not everything's about quantity, as most of the world believe now. Even rich people die feeling hollow.. Feeling that they've yet to accomplish their goals. Quality time, quality studies, quality goods, quality life.. These are so much more worth being sought after. Life is not just you standing on solid ground, waiting for something to happen. Life is also not like an ocean, for you to be floating about occasionally fishing for food. Life is about stepping into sinking sand learning how to make it solid. Life is about stepping outside our comfort zone, always ready to handle any circumstances.

Start planning now.. What would you want to be 5years from now.. Trust me.. U'll be surprised 5yrs from now.. Feel free to comment..

Thank God that He created UNION DAY!! Meaning tml i dun have to show my face in sch from 1030 to 230!! Thank God?? Yea!! But still gotta go for e 330 tut on phys.. Hmm.. God, pastor and my notebook tells me not to cheat by asking my friend to sign for me on attendance sheet tml, so yep.. only 45 min of school tml! Haha..

Oh.. Case any of u dunno.. I've enrolled myself into a singing class which is every thurs at 7 at Prinsep Street ( i think..), so will be popping down from school after studying in Mr Lee's library.. First lesson was last week, den e tcher taught bout e breathing methods.. Haha.. Fun.. Whole class wasnt like a class but a bunch of people taking alot n alot of deep breaths, n exhaling making sss sounds.. Really really informal n relaxed.. Haha..

Winnie the Pooh, my cussie, left Spore on Sun morn for the super high up place called Genting Highlands wid his parents n maternal granpa.. Haha.. I'm guessing they went there to experience the coolness of e air n e casino there ba.. Sadly, Mr Pooh had a bad case of stomach flu that night. Sources have reported that it was due to him eating an ice-cream. Mr Pooh was immediately rushed to the Genting hospital where he had his stomach pumped. Thanks to the expertise of the medical team who picked him up, Mr Pooh was rescued in the nick of time. Doctors who were interviewed commented that it was a tough battle, and that if Mr Pooh had arrived later, they would have not been able to save him. Doctors oso stated that the main reason of the stomach flu could have been due to an unknown micro-organism that was in the ice-cream. Police have sent the leftovers to forensics for further tests to be conducted. Meanwhile, as Mr Pooh was sent to his ward, our reporters approached him to ask some further questions, but all that we heard was:"H~U~N~N~Y.....I~C~E C..."

Hmm.. Quite a good try at scriptwriting rite? Haha... Act real story is my cussie, Winnie, n his family went Genting la.. But he didnt realli enjoy it cos of his stomach flu.. Hmm.. So sad.. He left on sun and came back on tues, still wid stomach ache.. Hai.. Of all days.. haha.. Too bad man..

Oh ya.. Forgot to wish Spore congrats in winning a super-duper prestigious Silver medal in e Olympics.. N congrats to Ms Li n friends for becoming one step closer to becoming a millionaire within a period of days.. Goes to show that you get well paid for being the best in ur area of expertise n go for global challenges.. Not an easy task, but only if u put in e right amounts of effort.. Are you up to the challenge?

Oh.. almost forgot bout this till i saw it.. Hoping that everyone of u realise how powerful n awesome work is!! Do you know that work is such a powerful thing that God created worlds and stars with work?? Hmm.. this 4 lettered word is such an understatement of what it realli means.. Even God works, so why shouldnt we? N if we should work, why dont we work to our best?! For we get well paid for being the best in our area of expertise!! In our area of work!! N we're not juz paid wid our paychecks, but also with many other aspects in our life!! The true cost (learnt from economics) of working is the opportunity cost plus the monetary cost, which in this terms, is actually the information gained, the friendships gained, the experience gained, the money gained.. Aint it worth it to work hard!! Well, thou process is hard, but in Christ, everything is achievable!! Work hard everyone!! Looking forward to being friends wid ministers, lawyers, tour agency managers, n doctors!! Mwahahaha..

Well, was juz blog-surfing when i realised something.. Do I live to work? Or work to live? Somehow, I feel as if i'm losing touch wid some of my friends.. Losing my grip on how God wants me to live my life.. I feel as if i'm losing my freedom to do things..

Everyday on my way to school, I'll always be reading my notes for e day's lec..
Everyday on my way BACK from school, i'll be reading on e notes which i cannot understand..
Everyday at home, I'll be planning on what I should be doing that night..
Everyday at home, I'll be planning on what I should be completing that week..
Everyday, its either tutorial, lecture, or webby..
Everyday, its e same old walls..
Everyday, its e same super-defensive attitude i get from u..
Is this really the life i wan? Is this a training package from God? Is this what i've to go through for 4 years? "If u need help, seek help?" Yes, I do..

I need help.. External intervention of sorts.. Close friends.. Godly people..
I need help to control my anger towards you.. I need His help to juz make sure that whatever u say has gone through your mind.. I need His help for telling you your mistakes.. Time N time again we all have tried telling u bout ur attitude, time N time u repeat e same mistakes.. I've given up even talking to u at times.. Seems like when u're happy, u joke.. When i dun react to ur jokes, u sting mi like a bee.. I pray to God He heals you.. I pray to God He helps you..

I need help to manage my time.. I need someone to literally push me to do my work.. Its hard studying again.. I'm afraid that i'll never catch up wid all my frens.I'm afraid i'll never do well in uni.. I need a study partner.. Someone who'll be my pacer in this race.. Somone who'll clear my doubts.. Someone who'll lead me thru my walk wid Christ.. I've given up all hopes of CCAs.. Not enough time for it being a main reason.. I need..

Haha.. Sorri peeps.. Ben kinda lazy these few days, so didnt blog anything at all for e week.. Hmm.. Gonna start!! Sit back, relax n enjoy e blog!! *smiles*

Day 1
First day, as u all know, mi n my family spent half a day climbing up e mountain. (Not literally k? Lolx..) Den when we finally got to First World Hotel, we had to wait till 3pm to check into our rooms.. Kinda norm ba i guess.. Our veri own family clown/lion/monster/dancer, little Jacob for short, was so excited n happy that even his mummy said that he couldn't keep his mouth closed e whole day!! Haha. N cos he's not e kind who'll follow strangers, its kinda rare that he actually got together well with Kim's parents! Whom we've never seen before.. Haha.. Laine-Jie says Kim looks like his dad.. Haha.. Oh oh.. There's this instance when Laine-Jie n my Da-jie went for a motion simulator ride at e indoor amusement park and had to slip away without Jacob's notice.. Guess wat?? Jacob was so into one of e rides that he didnt even care bout his missing mum n aunt, and sat e ride for a total of 5 times!!!! Totalling to a shocking 7 times of riding THAT ride in LESS THAN ONE HOUR!!!! N now u muz be thinking wat kind of ride was it rite? IT WAS A SERIES OF VEHICLES BEING TOWED BY A TRAIN HEAD MOVING IN 2 SPIRAL MOTIONS THRICE.. So, if u do ur math, Jacob will have gone through 21 times on a same track, going in 14 short spirals within a period of 45min!! Does that make him qualify for GBWR?? Haha.. It was also my first time eating super ex chicken rice.. RM15 for a plate, like e usual ones we eat at kopitiams.. Hai.. Daylight robbery.. It started with a bang.. *bang*

Daaayyy 2
We all went to e outdoor theme park cos cable car was closed n could not go down KL.. Decided to go down by coach tml instead.. If u happen to decide to go to the park, pls do not go to e pirate ride near e entrance.. If u see alot of ppl queuing up there, do not be fooled.. Unless u're scared of e dark, u can juz slp thru e whole thing.. ONLY thing inside.. repeat.. ONLY thing inside is a rock.. Sounds crazy to you, but YES!! There's only a piece of rock in the whole ride thats worth paying attention to.. *faints* Haha.. summore icecream there is only sold for RM4.. Haha.. So e usual mi went to eat 4 icecreams one at a time.. Haha.. Mum was like, "So cold already u still eat icecream ah? Eat so much summore.. Siao arh!!" Haha.. Adrian loves cold weather :) Oh.. N at night we went to watch e DREAMZ performance.. N we saw a white tiger n a white Lion!! Hmm.. Wonder if they bleached e lion anot.. So rare to find white lions so pretty.. Haha.. But i kinda watched till i wanna slp.. Too many colours le.. Haha.. Was drawn to their white n black costumes instead.. Hahazz..

Dey 3
Grr.. Sore throat started in e morn.. Den we got down to KL, with Fisherman's Friend in my mouth e whole day.. Had Bah Kut Teh at a coffeeshop in KL which was in fact pig's innards soup.. Tastes weird when u thought it was BKT, den u put e spoon into ur mouth juz to realise that it was sweet.. Hmm.. Weird.. Haha.. But all in all, juz did some shopping n did not buy any shoes there cos we were unhappy wid e ppl's attitudes there.. Hmm.. Den everyone went back up high up in e mountains super sweaty n tired.. Haha.. Its been long since we sweated over there.. Haha.. N to end off e day, we went to be frozen up at e SNOWWORLD.. It is seriously cold there man.. Haha.. First time experiencing e "breathe-out-n-see-mist" effect.. Haha.. Too bad my mum didnt join us.. Guess she's worn out wid all e walking le ba.. She's not a fan of e cold too.. Haha.. Went back to hotel room n watched Barbershop 2.. Really nice show that caught my attention when i was channel surfing n when e others were falling aslp.. Show was about a black community n how they're fighting against the government's move to commercialise e community. Den near e end of e whole show, they talked about why Jesus wept in the bible.. So touched when i heard those words.. Hmm.. Realli a great show.. Like e humour too :)

Last Dae
Haha.. Was so lazy to get up n go home that i had to be woken up by my mum 3 or 4 times before getting up.. Haha.. Gonna leave alot of fun memories of going out wid Laine-Jie n jacob behind.. Haha.. Did nothing much that day, juz alot of last min shopping when i finally chanced on a good pair of shoes.. Alot better than those down at KL, n i'm more willing to buy from these shops that from those there.. Hmm... Yep.. Nothing much le, juz that on e way back to customs, we'll have a resting place for dinner, and ah ma wanted to eat at e restaurant at that pit stop.. Ah gong was like grouching alot even tho we've already made e orders le.. Wa.. Dat time i realli felt that my ah gong was like a small boy man.. Haha.. Complain complain complain, grouch grouch grouch.. Haha.. Nyway, in e end, we were not e last group who got back on e coach.. Hmm.. My poor ah ma.. Hmm..

Well, Genting story ends like dat!! Hope u all have had a fun time reading!! Haha.. Suepr long i noe.. Nyway, my com's finally up n running again, for e few of u who noes, n still gotta thank Eri for helping mi do e troublesome matriculation.. Haha.. Thanx!! Back to work!
